The school was founded in 1973 by the Diocese and was originally named Christ The King High School, reflecting its close ties with Christ The King Parish in Zwedru.
The school’s first principal, Brother Knight William Kamah Reeves, played a pivotal role in laying the foundation for what would become a cornerstone of education in the region. During the late 1970s, in a gesture of respect and commemoration, the school was renamed Bishop Juwle High School in honor of the late Bishop Patrick C. Juwle, a significant figure in the local Catholic community.
Over the years, Bishop Juwle High School has maintained a steadfast commitment to providing high-quality education. It currently serves students from grades seven through twelve, offering a comprehensive curriculum designed to foster both academic and personal growth.
