About Nazareth Preparatory and Junior High School

Nazareth Preparatory and Junior High school mission is:

To empower young people by imparting knowledge and instilling moral discipline, guiding them to become better individuals capable of positively transforming society.

Nazareth Preparatory and Junior High School vision is:

To develop an efficient educational system that equips students with the skills and knowledge required to succeed both locally and internationally, preparing them comprehensively for higher education and career paths.

Nazareth Preparatory and Junior High School, established in 2013 by the Sisters of the Holy Family in Pleebo City, Maryland County, embodies a profound commitment to fostering not just academic growth but also nurturing a sense of community and family values. Rooted in the principles of the Catholic faith, the Sisters of the Holy Family, led by Rev. Sr. Edith Wallace at the time of its inception, envisioned a school that not only imparted knowledge but also instilled virtues that would shape young minds for a lifetime.

Under the stewardship of Rev. Sr. Theresa B. Topor as the first proprietress, Nazareth School commenced its journey with humble beginnings, starting with a single nursery class of 25 students, 4 teachers, and 3 support staff. Over the years, guided by a steadfast dedication to its mission, the school steadily expanded its curriculum and facilities, culminating in the provision of education up to Grade 8 by 2018.

Mrs. Linda Mah Toe, as the principal, laid the groundwork for academic excellence and a nurturing environment conducive to learning and personal growth. Under her leadership, the school flourished, driven by a team of committed educators and support staff. Today, Sr. Agnes Seckeh leads the school as its administrator, carrying forward the legacy of dedication and service.

At Nazareth School, education transcends the boundaries of textbooks and classrooms; it is a holistic endeavor aimed at shaping well-rounded individuals grounded in values of compassion, integrity, and respect. The Sisters of the Holy Family, through their various apostolates, including quality education, emphasize the importance of nurturing strong family bonds and fostering a sense of belonging within the community.

With a dedicated team of teachers, caretakers, security personnel, and support staff, Nazareth School continues to evolve, providing a nurturing environment where students can thrive academically, emotionally, and spiritually.
