The Academic Year 2025/2026 has begun on a positive and energetic note across the schools of the Catholic Archdiocese of Monrovia. As students and teachers settle into the rhythm of a new school year, the Department of Administration of the Catholic Education Secretariat (CES) has also resumed its vital responsibility of monitoring and supervision visits to our Catholic schools.

As part of this ongoing exercise, the CES team recently visited Christ the King Catholic High School in Oldest Congo Town. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to observe teaching and learning in progress, interact with students and staff, and assess the general academic and administrative environment of the school.

During the visit, classrooms were alive with active participation. Students were attentive and engaged, while teachers demonstrated commitment to their instructional duties. The interaction between learners and educators reflected the core values of Catholic education—discipline, respect, diligence, and the pursuit of excellence. It was encouraging to witness students confidently participating in lessons within a structured and supportive learning environment.

The CES team also had the opportunity to engage with school administrators and support staff, whose dedication plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school. Their efforts continue to contribute significantly to creating a safe, orderly, and faith-centered atmosphere conducive to learning.

The Catholic Education Secretariat extends its sincere appreciation to the administration, teachers, support staff, and students of Christ the King Catholic High School for the warm reception and cooperation accorded during the visit. Such collaboration strengthens our shared mission of forming young people academically, morally, and spiritually.

As the new academic year unfolds, CES remains committed to supporting all Catholic schools through guidance, supervision, and partnership, ensuring that standards are upheld and that every learner receives quality, values-based education.

We pray that God’s abundant blessings continue to guide and sustain our schools throughout the 2025/2026 Academic Year. May this be a year marked by growth, success, and renewed commitment to excellence in Catholic education.
